KAMON MA-1

This MA-1 series combines traditional Japanese family crests with the team logos, drawing parallels between the history of various Japanese and American cities and the history of each team. The lining uses burgundy fabric, one of Japan's traditional colors. The back of the MA-1 jacket, formerly used by the US Air Force, features embroidered family crests of each team.

Portions of these images incorporate modified public domain materials from the collections of the National Diet Library, Japan, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York.
