KAMON MA-1 New York Knicks

Much like Manhattan serves as the vibrant center of New York, East Tokyo is a historic hub where countless narratives have been etched into the city’s identity. The crest utilizes the "Take ni Suzume" motif of the Oginogaya Uesugi clan (the historic guardians of Edo) symbolizing the enduring protection and the lively, spirited nature of a city that has always been the stage for greatness.

An MA-1 series that compares the history of each city in Japan and the U.S. for each team, fusing traditional family crests into team logos. The lining uses burgundy, one of Japan's traditional colors. Each team's family crest is embroidered on the back of the MA-1 format once used by the U.S. Air Force.
